My love for nature and the outdoors began at an early age. When I was around 10 years old, I was fortunate enough to have family members introduce me to the world of hunting and shooting sports. Shortly after, I became obsessed with archery. I would shoot multiple times every day at the archery range diving deeper into the craft. My passion for fitness and archery led me down the path of pursuing mountain bow hunts which involves training year round.

I began working at Scheels in the archery department learning the profession of an archery specialist where I was able to assist others in every stage of their archery journey. In the meantime, continuing to expand my own. The most beautiful thing to me about archery is the simple fact that you have to put all of your present intentions into executing a perfect shot. The exercise of focusing your energy every time you practice hitting a target trickles into everything else you do in your life. I have worked on thousands of different bows and constructed countless arrow combinations. There is always more to learn and experience. Along the way, I have met many amazing people that impacted my life to this day. Among them are Joe and Christine—who a few years ago they shared their visions of River Ridge and the purpose they have behind revamping the beautiful shooting preserve. I absolutely feel the same passion in providing a professional platform for new shooters being introduced into the shooting sports, as well as providing experienced shooters a well-kept environment to train, learn and practice their second amendment right.
